Prophet of the Second Axial Period
Interviews with the late Dr. Ewert H. Cousins during his final illness, September 12, 2008. Dr. Cousins was Advisor to both the United Nations on issues related to Global Spirituality and also the Vatican Interreligious Dialogue Council for more than 40 years. His teachings engaged over 500 scholars across the globe. His major project was World Spirituality; he spent a lifetime formulating his hypothesis about a Second Axial Age "dawning in our times." He was General Editor-In-Chief of the Encyclopedia of the World's Religious Quest and also the Classics of Western Spirituality.
